* Defragmentation of NTFS Volumes *

An offline defragmentation is the best method to reorganize files because absolutely no file of an NTFS volume is in use.

By a defragmentation with DFRGNTFS the performance of Windows can be boosted by 100% and more. When DFRGNTFS is used regularly the PC keeps fast and requires only a few seconds to minutes to defragment.
If partitions are heavily fragmented the first usage of DFRGNTFS can take a long time of several hours.

After the start of DFRGNTFS all hard disks are searched for available NTFS volumes and list containing the results is displayed.

First choose the level of degragmentation using the "F5"-key. A value of "0" is used for a fast less accurate, "1" for a normal (recommended) and "2" for a full defragmentation.

After the level is selected start the defragmentation by typing the drive letter you want to defragment.
Never interrupt or cancel a running defragmentation because this can lead to a loss of the data that is currently being defragmented. As soon as the tool finished its work the menu is displayed again.

Now you can select another volume (us the "F6"-key); restart the PC with the "F9"-key or switch the PC off with the "F10"-key.
