* Working with CHKDKSG *



The hard disk diagnostic tool CHKDSKG shows all found partitions it can scan or repair in the green field.
After selecting the drive letter (consider that the drive letters might not be he same as they are displayed in Windows!) you are asked if CHKDSKG should only check or also repair the partitions if any errors are found.

As soon as the check has finished you can select another partition for check/repair or restart the PC using the "F9"-key or switch it off using the "F10" key.

To see the list of available partitions again use the "F6"-key.



Differences between CHKDSK and CHKDSKG:

While CHKDSK is a pure command-line tool that tries to repair any found partition automatically CHKDSKG is a GUI-tool for the experienced user. With CHKDSKG it is possible to scan and to scan/repair single volumes.
